Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
    • Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
    • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
  • Medication Reminders:
    • Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.
    • Support clients in managing their medication routines.
  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition:  
    • Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
    • Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Companionship and Social Interaction: 
    • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
    • Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
  • Health Monitoring: 
    • Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
    • Document care provided and any notable observations.
  • Transportation: 
    • Some caregivers will be compensated to provide transportation services for clients.
    • This will require a reliable automobile, auto insurance, and valid driver license.
Qualifications:
  • CNA preferred.  
  • 3 years experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
  • Certification CPR and First Aid a plus.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team. 
  • Computer access and basic competency.  
  • Fluent English.  
  • Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
